Angels in the snow

Great Creator, the four powers of the universe

Mother Earth and all my relations

As I stand in the first snow of the season

I give thanks to the medicine of the north

For its cleansing purification

For giving me the strength and courage to overcome all things that are harsh

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The final messenger on this journey of mind has taken its place

Being welcomed and briefed by its four predecessors

We have arrived, the last leg of the journey is about to commence

 

 

 

The road to peace in mind body and spirit has been cleansed

The last of the brilliant colors of the harvest time shine even brighter against the canvas of snow

Illuminating the way, the day and the spirit

 

 

 

 

This day will progress for all whom are called to serve it.

From the eyes of the grown, the landscape becomes an inconvenience

From the eyes of child whose spirit is still connected to natural world

Its is a day of wonder and rejoice, a time to play and be angels in the snow

Awaken that spirit within you and it will carry you through

 

 

 

 

The charge is on, the way of spirit is close at hand

The circle shall soon be complete

 

 

 

Follow your tracks back to the place of comfort and peace

 

 

 

 

 

 

By the time Grandmothers light fills the sky we will have arrived

Don't look back

For what is done is done

Sleep well and dream the dreams that make you smile

That bring food to the soul, and bring the music of laughter to your lips.
