Welcome to Monday
Creator, as the journey begins I pray that we shall all walk as one with you.
As Grand father sun begins to awaken the spirits of the earth
follow his call
The journey begins for them as well.
They come to give support and to walk with us in spirit
The light of day illuminates the carpet of gold on which the journey begins
The crisp Autumn air serves as a second cup of coffee
Awakening the mind and invigorating the spirit
Giving us the fuel to run the human machine
Bed time for Grandfather comes early in the season of color and harvest
As do we the spirits of the earth shall return to their homes
For the journey has begun with them and will conclude with them
Just as a mother who brings their children to the bus stop
And who waits to welcome their return.
Though out of sight, they are never out of mind
When the time of rest is upon you and responsibilities turn to the self
May the medicine of the day and the spirits of the earth be with you
May they bring you comfort and reassurance
May your ears hear the message they bring from the Creator
As you walk your journey and dream your dreams you are never alone
For your are of spirit, and in that spirit all that is
walks with you.
