Great Spirit as the journey begins I pray the blues away
With the long weekend behind us
Even the spirits of the earth are singing the blues
Reluctantly they take their positions and sound the alarm
The journey begins with a head start by the time we shake off
the post holiday blues it will be halfway over
The night brings the energy back to continue the journey
The blues fade away and the colors of life return
Walk along and sing your song.
The blues are no more than a good person feeling down
