The last journey of summer

Great spirit, I pray that we are strong, willing
and able, to meet the challenges that the new day brings.

The chill of fall is in the air, the season of the sun will soon
say goodbye.
The morning spirits await the late arrival of the sun.
Transition is the message they bring.

The road on todays journey is the last road of summer.
The season of harvest begins at its end.
Gather what has grown it will be the bounty.

Leave no blanks, the fruits of wisdom shall soon be ripened.

For some the road home will begin to assume its harvest tone.
Grandfathers light is growing dim.
Grandmother moon shall light the path.
May the last of the summer wine be tasted, may the last rose of summer
bring its beauty and fragrance to your spirit.
May you sleep well in the cool night, and dream sweetly under the blanket of blessings.
