Great Spirit I thank you for your blessings
Grand father of the North I thank you for this medicine you bring to this earth
And for the medicine you bring to our lives
The message of this day is renewal
Let the Spirit of the water share its medicine with you
As it does the earth
Wash away your troubles wash away your pain
Wash away your doubts, with the healing rain
The road we walked is being cleansed
We can enter the time of peace renewed
Free of yesterdays eyes
Ready to walk in the beauty of autumn
The water is the strongest of the four elements
The four powers of creation
It can put out the fires, stop the wind, and move the earth
It can regenerate and cleanse it self as well as us
Offer a prayer of thanks to the Spirit of the water
When your time of rest comes, ask it to share with you it power and medicine
May the cleansing rains fall upon this earth and onto the lives
of all that call her home
May all feel the medicine permeate their being and their existence
May you awaken tomorrow renewed refreshed and ready to grow.
